The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that was announced last year turned out to be a nightmare for the company. Due to its faulty batteries that resulted in explosions, the South Korean tech giant was forced to recall around 2.5 million units to Note 7. After the Note 7 was recalled, most of the people believed that the company has killed the entire lineup of Galaxy Note. But this turned out to be just speculations, as the Galaxy Note 8 will be soon launched in the market.
According to rumors, the new smartphone is expected to have 4K 6.4 inch super AMOLED display with double sided curved screen and also removed the home button providing the Note 8 with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The Note 8 is also rumored to have a pressure sensitive display similar to iPhone 7’s 3D touch. The fingerprint scanner will be on the back side similar to that of Note 7. There is also the possibility that the new Note 8 comes with Android O, as Google will announced Android O at the end of the year.
After the explosion of Note 7, the most important feature that the company needs to be very careful is the Battery. This time the company needs some more time to ensure that the Note 8 does not come with the same fault as the Note 7. As per the rumored, the company is expected to go a thermal pipe cooled design for Note 8. The device is expected to sport 3500mAh battery.
The Galaxy Note devices were unveiled in August, so it is expected that the new Note 8 will be launching in August 2017. Since company hasn’t made any official announcement on the device and their specification, but indications are rife that the company could be working on the new device.
