Google Might be the Key in Making Nokia Great Again

The Nokia 9, earlier known as the Nokia P1, has surfaced again on several online reports.  HMD Global, a company that will sell Nokia smartphones for the following ten years, has something big plan. Nokia is planning to restore their Brand to what it once was and also reveals that Google might be the key in making Nokia great again. During a press event at MWC, Nokia said that the Nokia Android phones, including Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 that are about to launch in the market will run a clean version of Android.

“Most of the smartphones in the market do not have the Android OS in the way it should be,” the exec said. “Vendors are adding a skin on top of the OS. Consumers have the right to have the latest version of the OS, and we will be pushing the latest version and the patches as soon as it is available from Google.” He added, “We and Google will jointly enhance the Nokia brand to put the right kind of inputs into the phone, including Google Assistant.”

The Nokia 9 will feature a Nokia OZO audio technology and will run the latest Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The smartphone will sport 5.5 inch QHD display, 6GB RAM with 256 GB storage and an iris scanner. The camera feature will be 22MP rear with Carl Zeiss and a 12MP front camera. It is rumored to be powered by a 3800mAh battery with 4.0 quick charge support.

The first Nokia Android Smartphone is rumored to launch in 120 markets in late May or early June.
